If your young person loves to have fun, ask weird questions, make things and use their imagination while exploring the past, present and future, come with us Into the Future!

Join us this summer for The Magic of Making and the ways children can imagine different futures that bring positive change to our world.

Sessions - Repeating a Two-Week Curriculum (Sessions 1 & 2) all Summer
We are building a 2 week curriculum with activities based on play, creativity, and our famous Future Time design build challenges. The first week of this curriculum will be 'Session 1,' while the second week will be 'Session 2’.

The Sessions are designed to provide more variety for kids who want to attend camp for more than one week.

Join us for 1 week or 2 weeks to experience new activities every day.

Why the Magic of Making?

Making is a magical journey of inspiration, resilience, and ingenuity, guiding participants to not only dream about the future but to actively build it. As part of Into the Future, we believe in nurturing the potential in every young mind to shape tomorrow with their creations, proving that the real magic is in the act of making itself.

We also believe in the power of play and fun, so each day will be filled with a balance of collaborative free play, thoughtful lessons, and guided builds to unlock the creative genius in all of our future-builders.

Join us in "The Magic of Making," where we don't just dream about the future—we start building it today!

FAQs

  • Our programs are designed for kids able to independently and enthusiastically build each day. This generally encompasses rising 2nd to rising 5th graders.

Our experience has been that younger kids love the outdoor play, but sometimes find it difficult to engage in the builds or require extra help that our staffing model cannot accomodate.

Older kids are welcome to join us if they are comfortable in an environment with programming designed for slightly younger children.

  • A backpack or bag containing:

    1. A packed lunch

    2. Snacks they can eat before we go out to the park

    3. A water bottle—hydration is important!

    4. Sunscreen, rain jacket, and anything else your child mght need for utdoor play.

    5. A change of clothes if you suspect your child may want to run through the sprinklers on hot days!

  • Though we don’t typically organize our own water activities for park time, the playgrounds that we frequent at Slope Park and Prospect Park do have sprinklers that they turn on in the summer months.

We generally allow children to run through the sprinkler on hot days, but try to avoid them getting soaked!

If you think your child may want to run through the sprinklers, please pack a change of clothes for them just in case. If you would prefer your child not get wet at all during outdoor play, please let us know ahead of time.

  • No problem! Providing we have availability, we are happy to transfer your child’s enrollment to another week. Please just each out to us at info@intothefuture.nyc and we can sort out the detais.

  • If a conflict arises and your child can no longer attend, please reach out to us at info@intothefuture.nyc.

We are happy to offer full refunds (minus a $12 transaction fee) for cancellations made before June 1, 2024.

For cancellations made after June 1, refunds will be given based on our ability to fill the vacated spot. If we are able to fill the spot for the cancelled registration, we can offer a full refund. If not, we will offer a credit in the same amount.

Credits can be used for future camps, afterschool programs, and events.

  • No. For staffing and cleanup/prep reasons, our Summer Camp only runs until 3:00 pm.
