Subway Creatures
Animals have been adapting to human-made environments for thousands of years, like cats living near ancient Egyptian towns, or pigeons nesting on city buildings, or rats thriving underground. We learned about some amazing urban animal adaptations from years ago and today, then imagined New York City's subway system in 2055 as a giant underground ecosystem with many new creatures. We designed our own future subway creatures with unique habitats, adaptations, and community roles.
