Mascots
New York City has always used symbols, mascots, and landmarks to tell stories about who it is, from the Statue of Liberty and the I ❤️ NY logo to Mr. Met, Ellie the Elephant, and Sky Scraper the pigeon. We explored how these icons connect people to neighborhoods, teams, and cultures, then imagined and built our own future NYC mascots that could represent the city in 2052.
